The Cisco QSFP-40/100-SRBD is a dual-rate, bi-directional (BiDi) optical transceiver module that supports both 40 Gigabit and 100 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fiber (MMF). Its bidirectional technology allows it to transmit and receive data on a single strand of fiber, which helps reuse existing duplex multimode fiber infrastructure during network upgrades.
