The Cisco CP-8841-3PCC-K9 is a version of the Cisco IP Phone 8841 that is designed for use with third-party, open SIP call control systems rather than with Cisco's proprietary Unified Communications Manager. The "3PCC" designation indicates "3rd-Party Call Control".
