The Aruba CX 6100 JL675A 48G CL4 4SFP+ Switch is an entry level product that delivers Layer 2 capabilities, and these switches also support static routing, robust QoS, traffic prioritisation, sFlow, ACLs and IPv6 support.

Deployment can occur in multiple port configurations, with a choice of 12, 24 or 48 1U models. These deployment levels include built-in 1/10 GbE uplinks, along with up to 370W of Class 4 PoE.

This configuration capability simplifies the issue of ownership, with no switch software licensing or subscriptions required for implementation.

The Performance/Power Quotient

The Aruba ASICs that are at the heart of the Aruba CX 6100 JL675A 48G CL4 4SFP+ Switch design offer a very low level of latency, along with adaptive power-consumption capability and increased packet buffering.

Wireless access points and IoT devices with the switch modes from this series can support IEEE 802.3at Class 4 Power at up to 370W, with that capability defined as up to 30W per Ethernet port.

The quartet of built-in 1/10 GbE uplinks are perfect for eliminating the bottlenecks that typically occur at the access layer, which is where users and devices connect.

Simpler Configuration Management

The Aruba CX 6100 JL675A 48G CL4 4SFP+ Switch can handle, manage and simplify multiple configurations, including those with Aruba Central, Aruba NetEdit, industry-standard CLI or simple Web GUI.

Aruba NetEdit includes automation capabilities that facilitate rapid network-wide changes, and it also verifies the policy conformity of the system via ongoing post-network updates.

You can also manage Aruba Central across wired, wireless or WAN networks, and you can reduce the number of manual IT operation tasks and shift configurations on the fly to accommodate adds, changes and moves using local user roles and LMA (Local Mac Authentication).

Finally, Aruba CX 6100 JL675A 48G CL4 4SFP+ Switch provides software-defined readiness with REST APIs that make fine-grain programmability possible for network tasks.
